UNO MAS FARM
Where there’s always room for one more, with support from animal lovers like you.
WE’RE ANIMAL PEOPLE
And the animals living on our registered farm pretty much think they’re people, too.
Whether it’s Cash, our huge cow, giving all the goats their morning baths,
or Zoe, our German Shepherd, herding everyone into the barn for lunch,
these animals have a lifestyle of their own. They’re pretty happy - but also
pretty hungry (all day long) and make a big mess! We love accepting new
animals into our family, but need your help to make sure we can always say
“uno mas!” to one more rescue. To help us on our mission, please consider
making a donation to Uno Mas Farm today.
DID YOU KNOW?
The 38 animals at Uno Mas Farm eat nearly 30 pounds of food a day
Oh, and about 60 gallons of water, but who’s counting - right? And yes, we actually did the math. That’s 8 ducks, 17 chickens, 7 goats, 3 dogs, 2 cows, 1 cat, 2 bails of hay a day, 25 pounds of grain a day, plus a few pounds of bird feed.
IF YOU HAVEN’T LOST TRACK YET, LET’S MEET THE ANIMALS!
Chance and Cash are our lovely cows. We have some goats, too: Ethel, Maverick, Legend, Oscar (no, not the Oscar building furniture in the workshop), Ronaldo, JD,
and Sweetie-Pie (who lives up to her name!). Our beloved dogs are Zoe, Baxter, and our newest addition, Daisy Mae. We also can’t forget about Smokey, the cat! And before you ask - the ducks and chickens don’t have names. I mean, we’re not totally crazy!
Every one of our animals was a rescue. The each have a story, and they all have better lives now that they’re at the farm. They get along beautifully, and we love our
(not so) little animal family at Uno Mas.
Between running the store, the workshop, and the farm full time, life can get
hectic. But when we sit by the fire in our rocking chairs at night, snuggled up
with the dogs and recounting the events of the day, it doesn’t seem so crazy
after all.
We won’t say that we exclusively work with dog people, but you can be pretty
sure you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome from Zoe, our German Shepherd,
when you visit the workshop. At the store, you can buy our “Bella” candle,
dedicated to our angel who passed in December 2020. Daisy Mae will bring
you over a toy, even if you didn’t ask for one. And if you try to give any of the
animals a pat on the head, you’d better save one for our dog Baxter, too - he
never misses an opportunity to get some love.
We love taking in furry and feathered friends, and we hope we can continue to
do so for many years to come. We can’t thank you enough for your support
for us and for Uno Mas Farm. It means the world to all of us.
